Self-Employed Specialists
Self-employed individuals form the majority of overall UK
businesses. They play a major role providing services to the
local community and provide a significant contribution to
the Government in terms of tax revenue as well as the UK economic
infrastructure.
Our experience has led us to be aware that self-employed
individuals are busy providing their services and do not have
excessive resources to deal with compliance matters such as
accounting and taxation requirements. Hence we offer a complete
and price competitive package for the self-employed individual.
This includes
- business start up advice;
- liaising with relevant Government Bodies;
- bookkeeping, Payroll and VAT;
- year end business accounts and tax computation; and
- completion of Self Assessment Return (see also Self Assessment
Return section)
Self Assessment Return
Self Assessment is the most fundamental form of the administration
of personal taxation. The responsibility for the management
of an individual’s tax affairs is placed firmly on that
individual. In other words, the individual has the legal obligation
to complete and submit his / her Self Assessment Return to
the Inland Revenue by the due date imposed by the Government.
As a general rule, individuals have other incomes other than
the salary from his/her employment will need to submit a Self
Assessment Return. Our services include :
- complete the Assessment Return on your behalf with expert
advice;
- computerise your records for e-submission to the Inland
Revenue; and
- liaise with the Inland Revenue on your behalf.
